To our product line we added answering machines, some copiers and had become an Authorized Dealer for sales and service of TEC cash registers, which was added to the line up 1986. We went from zero to the largest dealer for sales and service volume in Canada for 1989 & 1990, 2 years running. In 1982, Brother typewriters, word processors, printers, and faxes were added, which went from zero to the largest dealer in Canada for 6 years. In 1986, we were hooking up computers to typewriters, to make them communicate not only as a printer but both ways. It had never been heard of in the typewriter world but we were able to do it. Staff then numbered fourteen and remained in this form until August of 1990.

In August of 1990, George sold his business to a larger firm in London (Daytun Inc.), feeling that it was in the best interest of his customers.
Unfortunately, one year later he was not of the same opinion and proceeded to purchase the Forest City Business Equipment identity back from Daytun; except for the cash register division.
However, a short time later he inherited the TEC Dealership back in 1991. He rebuilt the division over the next 2 years from 1991-1993 and then sold it to another company that was dedicated to that industry.
