When the sale was completed, Forest City was back in business in its old building at 548 Hamilton Road in 1991 with three employees. Upon its return, Forest City still sold, serviced and rented typewriters, calculators and dictation equipment. The Authorized Dealership for Brother remained with Forest City.
In 1992, Forest City had the opportunity to become the new
Panasonic Copier Dealer for the City of London. Three more
employees were added and in April 1993 the Panasonic facsimile
division (Panafax) named Forest City as its newest dealer.

At this point in time, the main focus of Forest City's operations turned from typewriters, calculators, and dictation equipment to copiers and fax products which went from a small base to, in 1999, many contract customers as well as many time & material customers.
Forest City Business Equipment, in 1994, was employing ten full-time employees and three part-time. In the middle of the recession, sales had nearly doubled and staff has almost been restored to its original level prior to the sale of the company.
