Re: Panasonic DP-1520 Copier and UF-586 Fax Machine

This is just a short letter to say how much we appreciate your service and also the reliability of the Panasonic copier and fax machine you sold us.

As you are aware, we are a used car dealership and the reproduction of our paperwork is very important to us. The training you provided made it easy for us to be able to use all the functions if these machines with ease. Your quick response time for service is greatly appreciated and your office staff is very pleasant every time we call.

Moving into the future, please do not hesitate to call us to use us as a referral; and continue with your superior level of service and products.

Regards,

Re: Panasonic Copier & Laser Printers.

This is just a short note to say how much we appreciate firstly your service, and secondly the reliability of the Panasonic copier and laser printers.

As you are aware, we are a real estate oriented consulting firm, and product presentation for our reports is critical to maintaining the needs of our clients. In the past few years our reports have changed dramatically, from standard typed-text black & white, to currently where they rival desk-top publishing with full colour pictures, maps & graphs. I do not believe that we could have achieved the same results with other brand-name equipment

Moving forward, please do not hesitate to use us as a referral; and, continue with your superior level of service and products.

Dear George:

Re: Royal Canadian Legion District “A” Spring Convention – April 16- 18,2004

I am writing this on behalf of the Royal Canadian Legion Zone A-7 to thank you for support of our recent convention by supplying items for our participant welcome bags.

The Convention was a great success with approximately 300 delegates, observers and guests attending. When we host a convention and discuss issues concerning the Legion, our efforts culminate in community support in the work that we do.

As you know it takes many people to make an activity such as this one a success and each committee member had to rely on businesses such as yours to help provide various services. We have encouraged all our members to be sure to frequent businesses of those of you who have been so supportive.

Again, our sincere thanks and we look forward to your continued support.

Yours in comradeship,
Robert White, Zone A-7
Commander

Dear George,

Many, many thanks for your great advice to me and my assistant regarding our printer needs. You were very cleat in your thoughts and recommendations. Use the best and it will be the most cost effective route for us to go, is what I recall you saying.

Today we are using the Panasonic KX-CL500 and it is working great. Your service and installation was speedy and it did not disrupt our day. The whole experience was pretty painless. In fact, as it turns out, we are using it more than we thought.

Thanks again for handling this office issue for us. We are satisfied clients.

Dear Mr. Payne:

I wanted to take a moment to write to you to let you know how much we appreciate the contribution that Forest City Equipment has made to Literacy Link South Central.

When we realized that our old photocopier was becoming obsolete, we panicked since we are a not for profit, registered charity. Replacing expensive pieces of office equipment is not something that we can budget for on an annual basis nor is it something that we can easily afford. That’s why your generous offer came as such a great surprise. We solicited numerous quotes from local area businesses in order to replace our photocopier and Forest City Business Equipment came in with the best off by far.

Literacy Link South Central is not only grateful to your organization because we have saved money. We’re grateful because we are able to use the money that would have been used to buy a new photocopier to advance the cause that we believe in most: that being part of a literature society helps people to live fuller, more rewarding lives.

Your support of Literacy Link South Central is further evidence of Forest City Business Equipment’s sense of community. We just wanted to thank you sincerely for your generosity and for showing us that productive and mutually beneficial relationships can exist between the not for profit and the private sectors.

Sincerely,
Tamara Kaattari
Executive Director - Literacy Link South Central

Forest City Business Equipment began its association with Jesse’s Journey by supporting the Jesse’s Journey Charity Golf Classic which began in 1998 – the year John Davidson walked across Canada.

The company’s relationship with Jesse’s Journey broadened when the Forest City Business Equipment donated computer printing equipment when the “journey” office was established in London.

Forest City Business Equipment in conjunction with Panasonic Canada expanded their involvement with Jesse’s Journey with the donation of colour printing equipment to produce various new and information pieces which are mailed across Canada and around the world.

The company is continuing its generous support of Jesse’s Journey through its “in kind” program of equipment donations as well as its involvement in FUNdraising Friday, continuing support of the Jesse’s Journey Charity Golf Classic which will be held on Wednesday, September 14th and through expansion of the relationship between Forest City Business Equipment and Panasonic Canada.

The thoughtfulness and generosity of Forest City Business Equipment has helped build the Jesse’s Davidson Endowment Fund to more then $5.5M.

The endowment is the source of funding for the Duchenne Research Initiative
Created by Jesse’s Journey and announced in January of this year. Jesse’s Journey is investing $1M in the first phase of this research project which is a collaborative effort by researchers at Children’s Hospital Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, The Ottawa Health Research Institute and the Lawson Health Research Institute here in London.

My brothers and sisters in Christ,

I write to commend George Payne and his staff at Forest City Business Equipment to you.

Several years ago we requested proposals from a variety of suppliers to help us with our photocopy needs. As with all churches our requirements were high, and our budgets low.

Many copier companies presented suggestions and prices that, for the most part, were out of our price range, or completely unrealistic for our needs. The proposal we received from Forest City was for a copier that met our requirements, and was compatible with our budget. Plus there was an added advantage, the personal contact that is part of dealing with a local company, rather than an office of a multinational company.

Forest City has been providing us with copiers for the past four years. Their service department is knowledgeable and quick to respond to service requests.

I have no hesitation in recommending Forest City Business Equipment to you. I know you will be satisfied.

Yours in Jesus’ service
The Rev. Peter J. Leonard
